It's a 70-year-old family tradition where Swedes hand-pick a bag of candy every Saturday to share, instead of eating candy every day. Pim's Pick 'N' Mix brings the same hand-picked Scandinavian candy experience to the United States, available any day of the week, not just Saturdays.

Pim's Pick 'N' Mix ships more than 130 authentic Swedish candies nationwide from Boca Raton, Florida. Every piece is imported directly from Sweden, the same brands (Bubs, Cloetta, Malaco, Aroma, Fazer, Candy People) sold in Swedish grocery stores. Customers build their own weight-based custom mix or subscribe to the Saturday Box for weekly deliveries.

Custom-mix Swedish pick 'n' mix at Pim's is $18.95 per pound, with a half-pound order minimum. You can split that half-pound across multiple bags (for example one bag per family member) in a single order. Prices are calculated by exact weight at checkout (no fixed bag sizes). Subscribers to the Saturday Box save 10% off every box. Party-sized 2 lb bags are also available.

Most Swedish candy gets its color from plants such as beetroot, turmeric, spirulina and safflower instead of dyes like Red 40. About 9 in 10 of the candies on our wall contain no synthetic dyes at all. Some reds come from carmine, a natural color made from insects, which matters if you eat vegan and is always on the label. It is still candy, sweetened with sugar and glucose syrup, and every ingredient list is in the candy's info panel and on its product page, so you can check allergens and additives before ordering.

None of our candies contain Red 40, Yellow 5 or Yellow 6. About 9 in 10 contain no synthetic dyes: they are colored with plants such as carrot, turmeric, spirulina and paprika extract, or with carmine, a red made from insects. The exceptions are a few bright blue candies, like Bubs Bubblegum Skull and some S-Märke sours, which use a blue dye such as E133 (Blue 1). TikTok discovered Swedish candy in 2023 and 2024, first with Bubs skulls (Cool Cola Skull, Bubblegum Skull) then the broader pick-and-mix format. What resonated: cleaner ingredients than American candy, the novelty of building your own bag, and unusual flavors like salty licorice (salmiak) and Ferrari sour cars. The gummy fish sold in US supermarkets are a mass-produced spin-off. The originals, Malaco's Pastellfiskar, come from Sweden in every flavor imaginable (raspberry, cherry, pear, cola, sour). Pim's Pick 'N' Mix imports the real Pastellfiskar and sells them by weight. Taste side-by-side: the Swedish ones are chewier, less sweet, more flavor-forward.

Yes. Pim's Pick 'N' Mix ships to all 50 US states from Boca Raton, Florida. Custom mixes are packed by hand and shipped in resealable Pim's paper bags. Delivery time is typically 3 to 5 business days for standard shipping. International shipping is not currently available.

About 30% of Pim's 130+ candies are vegan, no gelatin, dairy, honey, carmine, or beeswax. Every candy card on the shop page shows a "Contains" info pill listing any animal-derived allergens (milk, gelatin, nuts). Vegans can filter the shop by dietary preference to see only vegan options. Bubs skulls, gummy skulls, and most fruit-based candies are typically vegan.

Around three quarters of the Pim's catalog is gluten-free (about 100 of our 130+ candies). Foam candies, most fruit gummies, and chocolate-free hard candies typically contain no wheat, rye, barley, or oats. The shop filter lets you show only gluten-free options. Every candy card lists a "Contains: gluten" info tag when the ingredient list includes wheat flour or barley, including trace warnings.

Yes. On the pick-n-mix wall, build the first bag by clicking the candies you want. When you're happy with it, click the "+ New bag" button on the cart bar at the bottom of the page. That saves the bag you just built and resets the picker so you can start the next one with a completely different mix. Repeat as many times as you need. Every bag is hand packed separately, perfect for family orders, gifts for several people, or sampler sets. Each bag can be whatever size you like; the ½ lb minimum applies to your order total, not to each bag individually, so you can mix small and large bags as you please.
