Pim's Pick 'N' Mix

A bag built
on a child’s
longing
for home

Pim’s Pick ‘n’ Mix started where most Swedish things start: with a child, a Saturday, and a paper bag full of candy.

Meet Pim and the
Candy Pirates

The story behind every bag we hand-pack.

Pim is our daughter

She grew up between Sweden and the United States, two languages, two homes, and one constant: a love for Swedish candy.

Every Saturday in Sweden, Pim would scoop her favorites at the candy wall. When we moved to America, that ritual broke. The candy here didn’t taste like home, and Pim missed sharing it with the friends she was growing up with.

The Candy Pirates

When Pim missed home, we told her bedtime tales of Candy Pirates , sailing across the ocean to deliver Swedish sweets to every American shore. Stories to help a child fall asleep while she missed her grandparents and her Saturdays.

We had no idea those bedtime stories would become a business plan. But the more she asked for the candy, and the more her American friends wanted to try it, the clearer it got: the pirates needed to be real.

The Saturday
ritual

A 60-year tradition that turned candy into a weekly moment of joy for an entire country.

In Sweden, Saturday is candy day , lördagsgodis. One day a week, just for the joy of it. Kids and adults alike line up at the candy wall, scoop their favorites into paper bags, and bring home something sweet to share.

Sweden eats more candy per capita than almost any other country in the world, over 30 lbs per person per year. And most of it is bought by weight, in pick ‘n’ mix form, on Saturdays.

That’s the tradition Pim grew up on

How we built Pim’s

We started Pim’s Pick ‘n’ Mix so our daughter could share real Swedish candy with the friends she was growing up with. What began as a family answer to a single child’s longing became a way to bring an entire country’s tradition to American shelves.

We work directly with the same Swedish candy makers that have been refining their craft for decades. No artificial dyes. No corn syrup shortcuts. No watered-down American versions. Just the real thing, flown in, hand-packed, and delivered.

Made for Pim. Made for everyone she wanted to share it with
