Privacy Policy

Pim’s Pick ‘N’ Mix, a brand of Transatlantic Candy LLC (“Pim’s,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates pimscandy.com and related services (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit the Site, place an order, sign up for our newsletter, or contact us.

By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

We collect information in three ways:

Information you give us directly

• Order details: name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number, order history.
• Account / newsletter: email address, name (if provided), preferences.
• Customer service: the content of any messages you send us via email, contact form, or phone.

Information collected automatically

• Device & browser data: IP address, browser type, operating system, language, referring URL.
• Usage data: pages viewed, time spent, clicks, scroll depth, products viewed.
• Cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies & tracking below).

Information from third parties

• Payment processors: we use Shopify Payments to process transactions. We receive confirmation that a payment was successful, but we do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
• Marketing platforms: aggregated audience and campaign data from Meta, Google, and similar advertising services.

We use personal information to:

• Process and fulfill your orders, including shipping and customer service.
• Communicate with you about your order, account, or inquiries.
• Send marketing emails and SMS (only if you have opted in).
• Improve the Site, our products, and your experience.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We will never sell your personal information for money. See the California rightssection for how we treat “sharing” under CPRA.

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run our business, and only to the extent they need to perform their work for us. These include:

• Shopify Inc. , e-commerce platform and payment processing.
• Shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx) , order fulfillment.
• Email service providers (Mailchimp / Klaviyo / similar) , newsletter and transactional emails.
• Analytics providers (Google Analytics) , understanding how the Site is used. See Cookies & tracking for exactly when analytics cookies are set and how to switch them off.
• Advertising partners: Google Ads, to measure whether our ads lead to orders. We use Google Ads cookies only to measure whether our own ads lead to orders. We do not use personalization or remarketing cookies.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep you logged in, understand how the Site is used, and send the emails you signed up for. Advertising cookies are used only to measure our own Google Ads, never to build a profile of you or show you ads elsewhere.

Analytics cookies, and how that depends on where you are. Pim’s sells and ships within the United States. If you visit from the United States or anywhere outside Europe, Google Analytics runs by default and this notice is how we tell you, which is what US privacy law asks for. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we show a consent banner instead and nothing analytics-related is set until you choose “Accept all”.

Email signup and reminders. Our emails are sent with Klaviyo, and its script follows the same rules as analytics: it runs by default for US visitors and only after “Accept all” in Europe. It shows our email signup, and if you have given us your email, it remembers what you looked at and what you put in your bag so we can send you a reminder. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link.

Opting out, wherever you are. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out and never enable analytics or advertising storage or load Klaviyo, with or without a banner. Browsers and extensions including Brave, DuckDuckGo and Firefox can send it. We honor it automatically, so there is nothing for you to click.

You can also control cookies through:

• Your browser settings (you can block or delete cookies).
• Industry opt-outs: DAA, NAI, YourOnlineChoices (EU).

Blocking essential cookies may break parts of the Site (for example, your cart will not persist).

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Delete your personal information (subject to legal exceptions).
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format (where applicable).

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@pimscandy.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you the following additional rights:

• Right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
• Right to delete personal information we collected from you (subject to legal exceptions).
• Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
• Right to opt out of sale or sharingof personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information. We use Google Ads cookies only to measure our own ads, with ad personalization switched off. We honor Global Privacy Control automatically, so a browser sending that signal is opted out of analytics, ad measurement and Klaviyo’s onsite script with nothing to click. You can also contact us at hello@pimscandy.com.
• Right to limit use of sensitive personal information , we do not use sensitive information for purposes other than those allowed by law.
• Right to non-discrimination , we will not charge you a different price or provide a lower level of service for exercising these rights.

To exercise these rights, email hello@pimscandy.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request.”

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law (for example, tax and order records are kept for at least seven years). When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit via HTTPS, access controls, vendor due diligence) to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; while we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at hello@pimscandy.com and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. If the changes are material, we will provide additional notice (for example, via a banner on the Site or by email).
