In Sweden, candy ingredients are held to the same standard as the food on your plate. Most of our wall is colored with plants like carrot, turmeric and black carrot.
When we brought Pim’s to America, we refused to dilute the recipes for the U.S. market. That meant importing the real thing, every flavor, every color, every ingredient, exactly as it’s made in Sweden.
Premium isn’t a marketing word. It’s a standard
This is what
natural color looks like
Red 40 and Yellow 5 are made from petroleum. In Europe, candy that uses them has to carry a warning about children’s attention, so Swedish candy makers mostly color with food instead. American candy mostly didn’t.

Every ingredient matters. That’s why there’s no Red 40 and no yellow dye anywhere on our wall, and about nine in ten of our candies use no synthetic dye at all.
